"Gorgeous instruments, gorgeous music. Every note they play is a work of art"
Our musical instruments are made from trees, each a different species. Our musical training and experience is diverse. Our beautiful, spontaneous, evocative music also expresses a mystery - an awesome connection to nature, to music, and to one another.
Sonic Forest weaves a delightful tapestry of classical, jazz, show tunes, American, Celtic and world folk musics, wild world fusion and spontaneous, soothing improvisations.
Appealing to a wide variety of musical tastes, our programs inspire thought, movement, memory, laughter, excitement, relaxation and happiness. Sharing ideas, stories and thoughts about the music, ourselves, and about our instruments, Sonic Forest presents seamless, engaging, FUN! entertainment.
Our instrumentation and ensemble size varies depending upon what best suits the venue and situation. With core instrumentation of oboe, violin, upright bass, piano, accordion and percussion, Sonic Forest provides the right music, workshop, teacher or lecture-performance for your special event or occasion. Whether you're seeking a soloist, private teacher, educator, lecturer, duo, trio, quartet or quintet, Sonic Forest provides appropriate, engaging, uplifting entertainment for any event or occasion.
